About Alex:
Alex McVey is a session and touring drummer who hails from West Virginia. He moved to Nashville in 2014 to pursue his dream of becoming a full-time musician. Alex is the owner of Lake House Studio, where he tracks drums and runs sessions. He has had the privilege to work with many talented artists and producers. When he’s not in the studio, he has had the opportunity to tour with many talented artists including Matt Stell, We Are Messengers, Sidewalk Prophets, Jimmie Allen, Brandon Heath, Tenille Arts, Elliot Root, and many more. His passion for music also extends to studio sound, which led him to start McVey Acoustics, an acoustic panel business. In his free time, Alex loves to spend time in the great outdoors with his wife and his dog Pepper.
